In 2008, the Rae & Lipskie Investment Counsel rebranded as the RaeLipskie Partnership to reinforce that we are your partners, both within our organization and in our community. We have done our best to infuse our values – trust, experience and integrity – in all we do, including our charitable involvements. Over the past three decades, the RaeLipksie Partnership has supported many community organizations in everything from education to mental health, healthcare, arts, environment and youth programs.
One of our favourite time-honoured holiday traditions is sponsoring the May Court Club’s Christmas Dreams celebration. Christmas Dreams supports incredible organizations such as St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Care Unit, KidsAbility and the Children’s Wish Foundation. The RaeLipskie Partnership has sponsored this event since our founding year, which was coincidentally their founding year as well. Congratulations on 30 years!
Another long standing tradition at the RaeLipskie Partnership was the annual charity lunch which ran for fifteen years. Each year the RaeLipskie Partnership would host a client lunch with a special guest speaker and 100% of the proceeds would be donated to a chosen charity – averaging $10,000 every year!
Over the years we hosted the charity lunch, we donated to the following organizations:

Speaker: Dr. John Lackner, Chief of Medical Staff, Grand River Hospital & St. Mary’s

For four years, the Lloyd Gower Award has honoured both a dedicated RaeLipksie Partnership employee and the community. Each year, the RaeLipksie Partnership makes a donation in Lloyd’s honour to the Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation as well as a donation to the charity of the award recipient’s choosing. The recipient of the award reflects the qualities of Lloyd Gower; this year’s recipient was Olivia Gwynne!
In our thirtieth year the RaeLipskie Partnership sponsored a number of new organizations, including the Carizon Ride for Refuge and Rockway Mennonite Collegiate’s An Evening of Gratitude. We also donated a dollar amount for every year Ted Brough worked at the RaeLipksie Partnership to the KW Community Foundation in honour of his retirement.
The RaeLipskie Partnership is proud to work with many other organizations in our community, such as:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region
- Waffles in the Warehouse
- The Food Bank of Waterloo Region
- Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery
- St. Luke’s Place

The RaeLipskie Partnership is honoured to work with a number of charities in our community. We would like to thank not only our staff and clients who have made our charitable giving a success, but also the incredible leadership at the organizations we support. Their dedication is remarkable and makes such a difference in our community. We are lucky to have you as partners!
