John Zondo, CFA

Portfolio Manager

John joined The RaeLipskie Partnership in 2022. He is an active member of the firm’s Investment Committee, participating in security selection and asset mix decisions, and assists in the management of client portfolios. In 2019, John earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Prior to joining RaeLipskie, John worked as an Associate on the Investment team at IBV Capital, a Toronto-based value investing fund, where he performed detailed fundamental and quantitative analysis on investment securities. Previously, John was a Credit Analyst at Marret Asset Management, a specialist fixed income manager.

John attended the University of Waterloo where he earned his Bachelor of Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematical Economics. He also attained a Master of Financial Economics degree (MFE) from Western University in London, Ontario.

John and his wife, Anna, reside in Waterloo along with their adorable husky Luna. They love to travel and are always looking forward to their next trip abroad. John is an avid cyclist and tries to get out on the road as much as possible. He also enjoys golfing, curling and dragon boating.
