Derek Rae, CIM

Vice-President & Portfolio Manager

After an early career in building restoration, Derek has been counselling clients, managing portfolios and contributing to investment research at The RaeLipskie Partnership since 2004. With his CIM designation, Derek manages in excess of $225 million for clients of all portfolio sizes.

As a semi-active Rotarian (Waterloo), he spends his free time playing a variety of musical instruments (violoncello is hard!), committing to personal fitness, as well as golf, curling and cooking (preferably vegan or vegetarian cuisine).

At the homestead in Waterloo, Derek is rounded out with 3 dogs (Winston the Yorkie, Jackie the Schnoodle and Twig the Froston), 1 frequent guest dog (Drew the Golden), 2 daughters (Mackenzie and Jessica) and a motorcycle (Triumph, of course).
