Client Relationship Manager – Advising Representative

Heather joined The RaeLipskie Partnership in 1996, gaining her more than twenty-six years’ experience in the investment management business. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, Investment Management Techniques, and Portfolio Management Techniques with the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). For seven years, Heather provided portfolio management assistance under the supervision of our Chief Investment Officer. She attained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2020, and is registered as a Client Relationship Manager – Advising Representative (CRM-AR). As a CRM-AR, Heather applies her extensive experience and knowledge to manage client portfolios, using our models and pooled funds, with a focus on client experience. Heather is a member of the RaeLipskie Investment Committee, leads our Tax Committee and oversees our Corporate Actions & Securities Class Actions Committee.

Heather grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and currently lives in Waterloo with her husband, John, their two sons, and one cat. Her young boys keep her busy with tennis lessons, sailing lessons, basketball camps (her oldest plays with the K-W Vipers) and swimming in their pool. She is an active member of her congregation, enjoys race training with the Waterloo Running Room and high-intensity workouts at Orange Theory gym. She has completed too many half-marathons to count and runs one marathon every year. In 2019, she successfully completed ENDURrun, a local 8-day, 7-stage, 160 km race. In her spare time, she loves entertaining friends and family.
